Alternative is to boot in safe mode and deinstall the fancontrol what is in the image. This was the first version that is not compatible with higher bios versions. Reboot and install newer version. An maybe if that is working satisfying I will try to make my AAO dual boot and install OS X on my SDHC card :-). But first need to install a "good battery life" distro beside the Linpus one.
