With the help of (mostly?) the aspireoneuser.com community Leak has created a new kernel and the bootchart is quite promising to say the least!

The Aspire One doesn’t have its own Ubuntu derived distribution yet. One attempt, OneLinux, was unfortunately cancelled a few days ago. Petaramesh has a 2.6.27 kernel for Ubuntu customized for the Aspire One. His weblog is in French though and many have trouble finding the downloads. So here I have the direct links.
